Collegium in the field of religion

Today in the building of the regional universal scientific library named after The Board of the Department for Religious Affairs of the Akimat of the North Kazakhstan region chaired by Deputy Akim of the region Nygymetova Gani Saktaganovich was held by Sabit Mukanov.

The Board was attended by representatives of law enforcement and local executive bodies working in the field of religion, heads of religious associations and non-governmental organizations.

During the main report, the head of the Department for Religious Affairs of the Akimat of the North Kazakhstan Region, R.I. Kasenova, outlined significant events held in cooperation with religious associations in 2021 and plans for the current year. The amendments made to the legislation in the field of religious activity will also be announced.

The head of the public association "Center for the Study of Interfaith and Interethnic Relations", a member of the regional information and explanatory group Suleimenova S.K. announced the results of the work carried out.

At the end of the meeting, Deputy Akim of the region Nygymetov G.S. thanked all the participants of the board, gave appropriate instructions and wished fruitful work. Addressing the heads of religious associations, he expressed great gratitude to the spiritual leaders of the region for supporting all restrictive measures, called on them to step up work on informing the population about anti-aids measures and the opportunity to bring to the public all state initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of our residents. The work on ensuring stability in the sphere of religion will be under constant control.
