SHYMKENT: A BICYCLE PATH WITH A LENGTH OF 6457 METERS IS BEING BUILT IN THE ARBORETUM
This was announced today at a briefing by Yerbol Akhmetov, head of the Construction Directorate of Shymkent city.
– This project passed the state competition in 2019. The length of this bike ride is 6457 meters. The cost amount is 130 million tenge, and the content of stone, sand and gravel mix. After the mixture, the threshold is drawn and an asphalt coating is laid. It should be noted that not only bike paths are being built, landscaping and lighting are being carried out here, but also race tracks. The total cost of these works is KZT 458 million, – said the head of the Directorate.
According to Yerbol Kulanbayuly, a race track with a length of 1164 meters, lighting poles with a length of 676 meters are being installed. In addition, gazebos have been installed in the park, and landscaping works are is gaining momentum.
It should be noted that 50% of the construction has already been completed. According to the relevant experts, this work will be fully completed by the end of the year.
