SHYMKENT: 8,000 JOBS WILL BE CREATED IN ZhULDYZ INDUSTRIAL ZONE
The Zhuldyz industrial zone with a total area of 306 hectares is being created in Shymkent in accordance with the President's instructions for the development of processing industry.
Currently, a feasibility study of the industrial zone is being developed. At the first stage, 110 hectares will be developed in 2020-2021, and 230 hectares will be developed in the second stage.
In General, investments in the amount of 105 billion tenge will be attracted to the industrial zone. It will employ 8,000 people.
In addition, it is expected that 60 projects will be implemented there in stages. The projects are mainly focused on construction materials, metallurgical, pharmaceutical and furniture industries. In particular, it is planned that production companies for the production of transformers, polyethylene pipes, heaters, foam plastics and penoplexes will be located in the industrial zone.
