HEADS OF TOURISM DEPARTMENTS HAVE SIGNED A MEMORANDUM

The two regions intend to jointly develop the tourism industry as a single direction. Heads of tourism departments of the Turkestan region and Shymkent city signed a Memorandum of understanding at the platform of the regional communications service and reached a bilateral agreement.
Its goal is to further develop the Turkestan region and Shymkent city as a single tourist destination.
The head of the tourism department of Shymkent Olzhas Shintayev said that within the framework of the memorandum the relevant agreement was reached and a schedule of future joint projects was developed.
He also noted that this document will provide broad opportunities for the formation and promotion of a single tourism product, as well as improving infrastructure.
There is a great opportunity for the development of historical, cultural, ecological, extreme, gastronomic and other types of tourism in the regions.
