90% OF BEDS ARE FREE IN MEDICAL HOSPITALS OF SHYMKENT
Medical institutions of Shymkent have 2,810 beds for the treatment of patients with infectious diseases. 650 of them are for infectious diseases and 2160 for medical treatment.
To date, 90% of beds are free in hospitals of metropolis. During the breakdown of the epidemiological situation in the city's medical organizations, 26 provisional hospitals worked to control the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
In addition, 133 mobile teams, created at the city's polyclinics go around the clock to answer calls. Until today, the team has visited the homes of about 25 thousand patients and provided medical services.
