SHYMKENT IS A LEADER IN THE REPUBLIC FOR THE GROWTH OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS
In Shymkent city, the volume of gross agricultural output amounted to 14.7 billion tenge for the first half of this year. This is an increase of 3.7% compared to the same period last year. Shymkent city takes the first place in the Republic in growth rate of agricultural products. This was reported by specialists of the city agriculture and veterinary medicine directorate.
According to specialists, the volume of gross agricultural output has increased as a result of systematic work on the development of agriculture and state support. From the volume of outputs, the agriculture totalled KZT 1.6 billion, animal husbandry - KZT12 billion.
As part of the state program for the development of agro-industrial complex, KZT 4,217.3 million was allocated for 2017-2021, and agricultural goods producers are provided with 8 programs. During the reporting period, KZT 992.3 million was disbursed.
We remind that in the first quarter of this year, more than 6 thousand people worked in the field of agriculture.
