SHYMKENT: A FIVE-YEAR HEALTH DEVELOPMENT PLAN WAS PRESENTED TO THE CITY MAYOR
The city mayor Murat Aitenov held a meeting on the prospects for the health development system. The head of the city health Directorate Rustem Albayev presented a health development plan for 2020-2025.
The five-year development plan is implemented in 4 main areas: improving medical services, developing human resources, improving the public health service, and developing the infrastructure of health organizations.
"As a result, life expectancy will increase to 75 years; maternal mortality will decrease from 25.3% to 7%; infant mortality will decrease from 8.7% to 6.9%; the share of private investment will increase to 25%; the number of stroke centers will reach by 4%; institutions will be digitalized by 100%,"- said Rustem Albayev.
Besides, a Memorandum will be signed with medical organizations that allow to evaluate all indicators and monitor organizations.
The plan provides for the use of mobile apps to develop online medical advice and improve public health literacy.
"It is possible to implement everything that is said in the plan. Sufficient funds are allocated for the health sector. Special attention should be paid to the quality and accessibility of medical care. In addition, much attention is paid to prevention and awareness-raising among the population. I instruct to complete the work before the indicated period, " -said Murat Duysenbekovich.
