11 COMMUNICATION STATIONS WILL BE INSTALLED IN SHYMKENT
The city mayor M. Aitenov held a regular online meeting with the Directors of Kazakhtelecom JSC, TransTeleCom JSC and mobile operators on the issues of providing the city with high-quality Internet.
During the meeting, acting head of the digitalization Directorate D. Alibekov introduced the strategic plan for providing the city with high-quality Internet for 2020-2021.
According to him, 11 land plots have been identified for installation of the base station on the city territory and are marked on the Google maps map. It is planned that they will be installed along N. Nazarbayev Avenue, Argynbekov street and Aisha Bibi street, the intersection of Kaitpas street, m-d Asar, m-d Kaynarbulak, an intra-block road in m-d Asar, Shymkent-Almaty highway in the direction of m-d Dostyk, Tulemetov-Utegenov street.
The strategic plan provides for the creation of a working group to study the issues of Internet coverage of the city, the conclusion of memoranda with service providers on providing the population with high-quality Internet, strengthening the activities and increasing the number of information and educational complex "Aqyldy Kunbaqus", conducting a wide explanatory work among the population about the safety of installed base stations.
In his speech, Murat Duysenbekovich noted that on the way of digital development of the country, special attention is paid to Internet issues, noted that providing the metropolis with high-quality Internet is the main requirement of today and instructed the Deputy mayor of the city to ensure strict control over the implementation of the strategic plan.
