SHYMKENT MAYOR'S OFFICE CONSIDERED THE ISSUE OF PROVIDING MICRO DISTRICTS WITH HIGH-QUALITY INTERNET
One of the main issues on the agenda is to provide the country's third metropolis with high-quality Internet. In order to intensify work in this direction, the mayor every ten days gathers specialists responsible for this area to work out measures on improving the quality of Internet.
During distance learning, there were a large number of complaints about the poor quality of the Internet. The head of the city noted that the issue of increasing the Internet speed in the city has not yet been resolved.
At the same time, in order to improve the Internet quality, the mayor together with service providers set a number of specific tasks to identify places of low network quality and install additional base stations in regions with low quality.
Summing up the meeting, the mayor of the city instructed to prepare a 5 and 10-year development plan for Internet provision before the next meeting.
