BRIDGE AND ROAD CONSTRUCTION ARE ON THE AGENDA
In accordance with the modernization plan of Shymkent, bridges are being improved along with the city streets. Today, the city mayor Murat Aitenov got acquainted with the construction progress of the Badam river low-level bridge, which will continue along D. Konayev Avenue.
The construction of the bridge, which is 100 meters long and 32 meters wide will help prevent jam in the city. The city mayor gave a positive assessment to the construction of object, which will be put into operation in the near future.
In order to develop the quality of city roads, 26.9 billion tenge was allocated from the national and local budgets for the construction of 256 objects in 2020. This includes 417.3 km of roads , 7 bridges, 2 crossings, 1 exit to the right and 1 overpass.
As a result, 240 objects, 314.7 km of roads, 6 bridges and 1 overpass are planned to be put into operation by the end of the year. In addition, 536.5 million tenge was allocated for the installation of 260 bus stops according to the "Employment roadmap". As part of this program, 3119 people were employed, 1621 of them were employed through the employment center.
