ONE PERSON PASSED AWAY FROM COVID-19 IN SHYMKENT
A fatal case of a patient with a coronavirus infection was registered in Shymkent on May 30.
A patient born in 1959 is a resident of Enbekshi district, Shymkent city. 61-year-old citizen was taken to the city infectious diseases hospital on May 19. The patient had a PCR test for a coronavirus infection, the result was positive. Due to the deterioration of his health, the patient was transferred to the intensive care unit on May 20. The patient was connected to an artificial ventilation. The patient had concomitant diseases: Arterial hypertension of the 3rd degree. A very high-risk group. Type 2 diabetes mellitus, in the stage of decompensation. Fatty degeneration of 2nd degree. Also, the cause of death of the patient is a complication of pulmonary embolism. According to the treatment protocols, all the necessary medical measures were carried out for the patient, and consultations with Republican specialists were held daily.
Despite resuscitation measures, the patient passed away on May 30 at 22:10. A coronavirus infection have been identified in relatives who had been in contact with the patient. The treatment measures are being carried out, and the condition of patients is satisfactory.
