48 MILLION EGGS HAVE BEEN PRODUCED IN SHYMKENT IN FOUR MONTHS
In Shymkent, the funds allocated for agricultural production has amounted to 7.4 billion.tenge for four months of this year. Compared to last year, the volume has increased significantly. Particularly, 1 billion tenge for crop production, 6.2 billion tenge for livestock. During this time, more than 4 thousand tons of meat, 13.3 tons of milk and 48.6 million eggs have been produced.
In order to develop animal husbandry and increase production volumes, 7 major investment projects are being implemented, for which 2.3 billion tenge has been allocated. By the end of the year, it is planned to produce 1.5 million liters of milk, 40 million eggs, 2,200 tons of poultry meat, 2,500 tons of meat. Also, 210 new jobs will be created.
The budget subsidy program provides funds in the amount of 1140.7 million tenge for carrying out works in this direction. Today the journalists got acquainted with the work of a number of farms that have received government support.

First of all, the media representatives visited the poultry farm "KKK" LLP, located in the residential area Tassay. The entrepreneur began to engage in poultry farming and processing of products through a preferential loan. They also visited the farm IE "Normukhamedov", which produces more than 100 tons of honey per year. Since 2007, the entrepreneur has been developing beekeeping, receiving state support in breeding bees. Today, there are more than 5000 beehouses.
Also, journalists visited a dairy farm "Zertas". In 2019, the farm purchased 128 heads of brood cows from Austria through preferential loans and state support. The total number of cattle on the farm is 160. The entrepreneur receives support from the state in the production of milk. By the end of the year, it is planned to increase the number of cattle to 300 and expand the farm.
