WORKS ON THE CITY IMPROVEMENT ARE CONTINUED IN SHYMKENT
Landscaping works are intensively carried out in the third metropolis. Currently major repair works are being carried out at the intersection of Konayev and Ilyaev, and in squares at crossroads of Konayev and Turkestan street, also the alley "Shamshi alemi" and the alley of memory of victims in Chernobyl accident are being improved, as well as the Al-Farabi square (in front of the main entrance to the Russian drama theatre) will be reconstructed. In addition, the site of Tulpar station is being improved on the Central stadium area.
Today, mayor of the city Murat Aitenov visited several sites where work is being carried out on landscaping of the city.
Speaking about places that should be beautiful and convenient for residents, the head of the city made a number of proposals. Murat Duysenbekovich also drew attention to the need to use high-quality and durable materials in construction.
933 million tenge was allocated from the budget for improvement. These works in the city are carried out by "Shymkent Special Complex" LLP and "Shymkent Zhasyl Kala" LLP. More than 100 people have been employed under the 'Employment Roadmap- 2020" program. In General, about 300 workers are involved in landscaping.
