ABOUT 284,000 RESIDENTS OF SHYMKENT RECEIVED 42,500 TENGE
Measures were taken to support citizens who temporarily lost their income and socially vulnerable groups of the population in an emergency situation. 283,897 people who lost their income received social assistance in the amount of 42,500 tenge. This was announced by the city mayor Murat Aitenov.
Besides, at the initiative of Elbasy N. A. Nazarbayev, the public Fund "Birgemiz" through the Nur Otan party provided assistance to 41,630 citizens in the amount of 50,000 tenge. Also, 20 0000 families were distributed 50 pieces of masks, the total number of masks is 1 million. 994.7 million tenge was allocated at the expense of the national budget for providing food packages to more than 74 thousand people. 1.5 billion tenge was allocated from the budget to reimburse utility costs to socially vulnerable citizens
