SHYMKENT: CONFECTIONERY PLANT WILL PRODUCE 3.5 THOUSAND TONS OF MARMALADES PER YEAR
Shymkent city mayor Murat Aitenov got acquainted with the "Rakhat-Shymkent" confectionery plant's work, which recently launched a new line of marmalade production. Murat Duysenbekovich met with employees of the enterprise and noted that the plant has a great contribution to the city's industrial development.
The opening of the new line took place as a result of a Memorandum of cooperation signed in April last year between the Shymkent city mayor's office and "Rakhat-Shymkent"LLP.
During this project, 1.8 billion tenge was invested in the production potential of the third metropolis of Kazakhstan. In addition, the project received support from the government and 90 million tenge of subsidies were paid. Thanks to the opening of the new line, 80 citizens will be provided with jobs. The plant will produce 1 ton of marmalade per hour, 3.5 thousand tons per year.
The plant is equipped with modern equipment. To date, 6 types of products are produced in 30 naming. According to indicator of 2019, the plant produced 20 thousand tons of products.
