SHYMKENT: 3,198 PEOPLE WILL BE INVOLVED IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF ROADS WITHIN THE "ROAD MAP "

In Shymkent, 3,198 people will be involved in the construction of roads under the employment Roadmap. This was reported in the Directorate of passenger transport and highways of Shymkent city.
Works in the road industry are mainly divided into reconstruction and repair. This year, it is planned to reconstruct 10 objects – 13 km of roads, 3 bridges, 1 right-hand crossing.
Among them: the crossings at the intersection of autoroad A-2 and Temirlan highway, repair of A-2 autoroad section from a former landfill to microdistrict Yntymak, reconstruction of road bridges on the river Zhibek Zholy, Torekulov, Adyrbekov, Badam and bridge in the direction of Lenger on the river Sairam-su. Besides, 50 km of roads and 2 bridges will be completely repaired, the average repair will be carried out on 308 km of roads.
– This year, 223 objects will be put into operation, while 2 objects will be repaired in 2021. By the end of May, it is expected to open 136 objects, and in June-August-75 objects. Another 5 objects will be put into operation in autumn. And the average repair of Republic Avenue and Ryskulov street will last up to 2021, - said A. Turkhanov, the Deputy head of Directorate of passenger transport and highways. 
Specialists of the Directorate will not only repair roads and bridges, but also monitor the services provided to population. For example, in 4 districts of the city,  the maintenance of road lines and traffic regulation is carried out by specialists of the directorate.
– Many local residents are involved in these activities. Special attention is paid to the employment of unemployed citizens, - said Directorate representatives .
For example, 3,198 people will be involved under the "Employment Roadmap" program this year.
