SHYMKENT JOURNALISTS PRESENTED A TV SET TO CHILDREN FROM MAKTAARAL
Journalists led by Uali Kydyr, the Chairman of the Shymkent city branch of the Kazakhstan Journalists Union visited Maktaaral district today. During the trip, media representatives presented a TV set to children receiving distance education.
Also, 5 thousand pieces of ice cream were distributed to children of the village. In addition, financial support was provided to mothers with many children. Such well-known journalists as S. Zhanabil, G. Ziyabek, A. Asandi, B. Taizhan, Ye. Amirbek, B. Tuyetayev, A. Suleyeva, K. Botabekov, T. Fazylbek, D. Abdiramanov, T. Baltabayev went there specially and learned about the plight of the population. The event, organized by journalists was participated by well-known philanthropist B. Ashirov.
Chairman of the Shymkent city branch of the Kazakhstan Journalists Union, Director of the TV channel " ONTUSIK " Uali Sagyndykovich urged the population to avoid various provocations. Besides, he noted that all regions of Kazakhstan provide financial assistance to Maktaaral residents. He said that the situation of the country at a critical moment depends on the people's unity.
We remind that flood waters that destroyed the Sardobin reservoir in Uzbekistan flooded 1033 houses in 5 villages of Maktaaral district. 989 of them were uninhabitable. The flooded villages are Zhenis, Urgeles, Dostyk, Zhanaturmys and Ferdowsi. 7639 hectares of crops were flooded in the district.
People do their best to help the flooded villages. To date, 505 houses are under construction at the exit from Myrzakent. Residents of the villages Zhenis, Zhanaturmys and Dostyk will be relocated here.
Rural children under medical records and children from large families, 152 pupils from the villages Zhenis, Nurly Zhol, Zhantaksay, Zhana Turmys, Orgebas, Ferdowsi, who suffered from flooding in the Maktaaral district went to the health resort "Saryagash" in order to improve the health. There they will rest and study for 14 days. In addition, 47 elderly people were sent to the rehabilitation center "Birkolik" for rest. The health Department of Turkestan region is the initiator of this noble deeds.
