A CONTRACT WAS SIGNED FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SIX NEW SCHOOLS IN SHYMKENT
This was announced by the Deputy mayor of Shymkent city Bauyrzhan Mamytaliyev at a briefing in the information and communication center.
- Last year, 8000 pupils graduated from the 11th grade, and 24,616 children were accepted for the 1st grade. At the expense of budget funds (8.5 billion tenge), 13 schools for 7 thousand 20 places are built. 9 schools of which will be commissioned this year. Design and estimate documentation of 7 schools is being developed. Construction will begin next year. In addition, within the framework of per capita financing, 10 schools will be built by investors together with the social and entrepreneurial corporation "Shymkent". To date, contracts have been signed for the construction of 6 schools with 5100 places. The volume of investments amounted to about 8.3 billion.tenge. Construction and installation works have been started at 89 objects and more than 2 thousand people work there, - said the deputy mayor of the city.
During the meeting, Baurzhan Zhaimurzynuly noted that the shortage of school places in the city, which has become a topical issue of the city with high demographic growth will be resolved in the coming years. All construction works will be reviewed in a special headquarters and will be under constant monitoring.
