THE NUMBER OF MULTI-STOREY RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS WILL BE INCREASED IN SHYMKENT
This was announced by the Deputy mayor of Shymkent city Bauyrzhan Mamytaliyev at a briefing in the information and communication center.
– One of the most important sectors of the city's economy is construction. This year, the city plans to attract 250 billion tenge of investment, including 121 billion tenge for construction. The main priority is the construction of multi-storey residential buildings. The construction of 248 multi-storey residential buildings with 13,384 apartments with a total area of 1 million square meters is underway in the city. It is mainly built in the town " Shymkent city " and the administrative and business center. However, the main area of housing development is defined as the "Turan" microdistrict. Its total area is 197 hectares, divided into 12 blocks, - said the Deputy mayor of the city.
As Mr. B. Mamytaliev informed, in accordance with the approved project of detailed city planning, 384 multi-storey residential buildings, 6 schools, 10 kindergartens, 37 commercial facilities and 1 ethnopark with an area of 30 hectares will be built in the "Turan" microdistrict.
This year, construction of 42 new houses for 2,768 apartments has started in the microdistrict. On average, 85 residential buildings will be built each year.
Also, the construction of 78 residential buildings (5008 apartments, 295.2 thousand m2) will begin at the expense of budget funds this year. At the end of the year, 59 residential buildings or 3732 apartments (2020.2 thousand 2) will be commissioned.
44 residential buildings with 2,229 apartments will be built this year through the social and entrepreneurial corporation "Shymkent" under the program "7-20-25". And at the expense of private developers, 126 houses are being built for 6,147 apartments (594 thousand m2). This year, 33 residential buildings (1,600 apartments) will be commissioned by private developers. In general, this year it is planned to put into operation 612 thousand square meters of housing. This is 1.5 times more than in the last 3 years.
