30 UNITS OF SPECIAL EQUIPMENT HAVE BEEN SENT FROM SHYMKENT TO MAKTAARAL RAION
30 units of special equipment for emergency rescue operations have been sent from Shymkent to the flooded settlements of Maktaaral raion of Turkestan region. From the first days of the emergency, a special equipment team was sent from our city.
According to the Deputy mayor of Shymkent Almasbek Mamytbekov, assistance to raions affected by flooding will not stop, and support measures from the third metropolis are provided in accordance with the recommendations of Maktaaral district mayor.
"Now, 10 units of special equipment sent from Shymkent are working there in order to evacuate residents of Maktaaral raion. Today, another 30 special vehicles have been sent, which will be involved in emergency rescue operations," said A. Mamytbekov.
We remind that yesterday 12 personnel and four units of equipment of SI "Fire extinguishing and rescue service" of the Department of emergency situations of Shymkent immediately left for Maktaaral raion to conduct emergency rescue operations,as well as two units of water pumping equipment and four motor pumps. Besides, five employees, one unit technics and two units of equipment subordinated to the operational and rescue unit department, which is located in the Shardara town have been sent to a site of occurrence.
The command and staff vehicle of fire extinguishing and emergency rescue service of Shymkent was also involved at the site of occurrence.
