8 CASES OF CORONAVIRUS INFECTION WERE RECOREDE IN SHYMKENT

Infected citizens are residents of Shymkent city born in 2016, 1997, 1989, 1984, 1972, 1990, 1964, 1996. Newly identified citizens of Shymkent had been previously hospitalized in a quarantine hospital after contact with a patient where laboratory tests were taken.

The diagnosis of COVID-19 was exacted by results of the PCR diagnostic study.

Currently, the condition of patients is satisfactory. Treatment is performed in accordance with the approved protocol.

Individuals who have been in contact with patients are identified and all are taken under medical supervision.

In the centers of hotbeds, the disinfection works are carried out.

As of May 1, 2020, 201 people with COVID-19 infection were identified in the city.
