In 2016, 30 five-storey residential buildings were built in the Asar microdistrict. Unfortunately, most of them have collapsed exterior facades. The city mayor at a meeting with residents said that they will be repaired at the expense of sponsors. Currently, the construction company "Ak ordasy", which built these houses, has started to repair at its own expense, despite the expiration of the warranty period.
During the meeting, residents expressed gratitude to the city mayor Murat Aitenov and the construction company.
"Thank you for keeping your promises. House repairs have started, and residents are satisfied. The contractor have promised to complete works until the City Day", - said the resident Saltanat Sultanmuratova.
In his turn, the mayor thanked the management of the construction company "Ak ordasy". He stressed that this is a big step to win the confidence of residents.
Then Murat Duysenbekuly got acquainted with the construction of Konayev street, which passes through the Old town. Representatives of the responsible management say that construction is proceeding according to the approved schedule.
"We are standing on the first construction site of the extension of Konayev street. 725 million tenge was provided from the national budget for this 580-meter section. Until this year, 101 million tenge has already been disbursed. This year, another 200 million has been allocated. The remaining funds will be allocated later. Currently, work is underway to dismantle sewer systems, electricity and gas networks. In addition, the soil on this site unsuitable for construction, so we will cover it with gravel," - said Kairat Baimendiyev, the head of the Department of highways of the Diectorate of passenger transport and highways.
