SHYMKENT: MEDICAL WORKERS HAVE RECEIVED ADDITIONAL INCREMENT

Additional increment was given to more than 500 employees of 4 medical institutions, who work tirelessly for the health of others, despite the threat to their health.
25 million tenge collected at the expense of sponsors was given to the employees of the city infectious diseases hospital and the city hospital No. 2. Medical specialists working in the "Meirim" and "Atameken" rehabilitation centers under quarantine regime were not left out of increment.

2126 medical specialists of Shymkent were paid increment in accordance with the instruction of the Head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on assistance to medical workers fighting coronavirus.

Medical workers are divided into 3 groups according to the danger of their work. 8.749 million tenge was allocated to 24 employees who worked in particularly dangerous conditions of the first category, 294.848 million tenge was allocated to doctors and paramedics of the second category working in normal conditions, and other 977 medical specialists.

91.166 million tenge was provided for 1126 medical specialists working in third-level security conditions.

Doctors of infectious diseases hospitals, including intensive care units, middle and junior medical workers of the quarantine zone, as well as doctors of the dispensary hospital and the ambulance service and drivers of ambulance transport have received an increment.

A total of 3,226 doctors and 8,493 mid-level medical specialists work around the clock in public medical organizations in Shymkent.
