INFORMATION ABOUT 1 PERSON INFECTED WITH CORONAVIRUS IN SHYMKENT

Infected citizen is a resident of Shymkent born in 2015. The patient was hospitalized in a quarantine hospital and a laboratory sample was taken in connection with contact with a citizen born in 1990, where a coronavirus infection was previously detected.

The diagnosis of COVID-19 was exacted by results of PCR diagnostic study.

Currently, the patient's condition is satisfactory. In accordance with the approved protocol, the appropriate treatment is performed.

Individuals who have been in contact with patients are identified and all are taken under medical supervision.

In the hotbeds of disease, the disinfection works are carried out.

As of April 28,2020, 176 patients with COVID-19 coronavirus infection were identified in the city.
