5 cases of COVID-19 infection were registered in Shymkent city

Infected citizens are residents of Shymkent born in 1990, 1977, 1985, 1980, and 1982. Newly identified citizens of Shymkent were previously hospitalized in a quarantine hospital after contact with a patient where laboratory tests were taken.

The diagnosis of COVID-19 was exacted by the results of the PCR diagnostic study.

Currently, the condition of patients is satisfactory. Treatment is performed in accordance with the approved protocol.

Individuals who have been in contact with patients are identified and all are taken under medical supervision.
Disinfection works are carried out in the hotbeds of disease.

As of 26.04.2020, 167 people with COVID-19 infection were identified in the city.
