INTENSIVE DISINFECTION WORKS ARE UNDERWAY IN SHYMKENT

According to the Deputy head of the Directorate Bolat Malimov,  activities in this direction will be continued in Shymkent until the completion of quarantine. To date, 20 route schedules have been developed for the complete decontamination of about 1,500 streets of the city, which is 13.8 million square meters. 32 units of equipment carry out daily disinfection according to the plan.

- Responsible specialists daily systematize and coordinate the work of those who are engaged in cleaning urban areas with the addition of calcium hypochlorite. To date, about 200 military personnel and more than 100 employees have been involved in decontamination of public places, parks, bus stops, sidewalks, "-says B. Malimov.  ​

In addition, 60 units of equipment and about 600 employees of 20 service companies are involved in disinfection of entrances, courtyards of multi-storey residential buildings and territories where garbage containers are located in microdistricts. In 18 suburban roadblocks, the special additives were poured into the pools and compliance with sanitary requirements is monitored.
It should be noted that within the megalopolis daily chemical treatment of territories of quarantined microdistricts and multi-storey buildings is carried out until the end of quarantine.
