SHYMKENT: SOCIAL ASSISTANCE AND CONSTRUCTION ARE PRIORITIES

 Shymkent mayor Murat Aitenov held a remote meeting.
The progress of construction and engineering infrastructure, compliance with the quarantine regime and social payments in the city were on the agenda. 
In 2020, 104 investment projects are constructed through the city's construction Department.  58 projects of which include 78 residential buildings (19 are for rent and 59 are for credit), 20 engineering infrastructure, 13 educational facilities, 3 landscaping, 2 culture, 3 sports, 3 agriculture, 1 administrative building and 1 fire station.
 More than 2 thousand workers are involved in the construction of this housing. The construction projects will be put into operation on time. As a result, by the end of the year, 1,144 families will be provided with rental housing,-said Yerbol Akhmetov, the head of the Construction Directorate.
In addition, as part of the pilot project" 5-10-20 "and the program" 7-20-25", 51 of the credit houses under construction will be put into operation. This is 3284 apartments.
Besides, the construction of 13 schools with 7020 places are under way in the metropolis worth of USD 8.5 bln. At the end of the year, an educational institution with 4,500 places will be put into operation. The remaining 6 will be commissioned next year. Currently, 12 facilities are under construction. 358 workers are involved in the construction of facilities.
