5 cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in Shymkent

Infected citizens are residents of Shymkent city born in 1963, 1967, 1985, 1989, 1994. The infected were hospitalized in a quarantine hospital due to contact with a previously infected person with a coronavirus infection and laboratory tests were taken. 
 The diagnosis of COVID-19 was exacted by results of PCR diagnostic study.
In this regard, two hotbeds have been identified: Balgyn street in the Samal-2 microdistrict and the territory of a new building in the residential area “Tassay".
Currently, the condition of patients is satisfactory. In accordance with the approved protocol, appropriate treatment is performed.
Individuals who have been in contact with patients are identified and all are taken under medical supervision.
In the hotbeds of disease, the disinfection works are carried out.
As of April 19, 2020, 67 people with COVID-19 infection were identified in the city.
