INFORMATION ABOUT 11 PEOPLE INFECTED WITH COVID-19 INFECTION IN SHYMKENT

Infected citizens were born in 1956, 2004, 1978, 1981,1977, 1992, 1967, 1946, 1969, 1968, 1979. They are residents of Shymkent. They were hospitalized in a quarantine hospital due to contact with a patient with a coronavirus infection and laboratory samples were taken.  The infected 11 people are members of two families.

Based on the results of the PCR diagnostic study, the diagnosis of COVID-19 was exacted.

Currently, the condition of patients is satisfactory. In accordance with the approved protocol, the appropriate treatment is carried out.     

Contact persons are identified with the patient, all of them are taken for medical observation.

In the centers of disease, the epidemiological studies and disinfection works are being carried out. In this regard, three hotbeds were identified:  "Samal-2" microdistrict, "Tassay" residential area and  Turkestan regional center for mental health. 

As of April 18,2020, 57 patients with COVID-19 coronavirus infection were recorded in the city.
