AGRICULTURAL LANDS HAS BEEN INCREASED BY ONE THOUSAND HECTARES

This was announced at a briefing in the information and communication center by the head of the Directorate for agriculture and veterinary medicine of Shymkent, Askar Kanybekov. According to him, agricultural land in the city is 62.6 thousand hectares, including arable land - 39.5 thousand hectares, irrigated - 11.0 thousand hectares. - Now spring field works are performed on time, 91% of available tractors, 93% of seeders, 95% of walk-behind tractor, 97% of tillage equipment are involved. On behalf of the President, 500 million tenge is provided for subsidizing fuel for field works. This year, an additional 30 hectares of greenhouses were built on the city. This allowed to increase the volume of production in the agricultural sector.
