MAYOR GOT ACQUAINTED WITH THE MATERNITY HOSPITAL’S REPAIR

Mayor of the city Murat Aitenov got acquainted with the progress of major repairs in the city maternity hospital.
Currently, six buildings belonging to the medical organization are undergoing major repairs. At the end of April, the contractor company plans to complete the construction of the first three buildings, the remaining buildings will be commissioned by autumn.
The head of the city got acquainted with the progress of the works, for which the budget provides 1.7 billion tenge, and gave a satisfactory assessment.At present, the necessary treatment for patients is carried out in the old maternity hospital building. Upon completion of the repair work, the staff will be transferred to the repaired offices.
The facility will be fully equipped with modern medical equipment. M. Aitenov instructed to solve the problem of parking near the building.  He noted that it is possible to build a two-story open parking lot in case of need.
"Every year nine thousand babies are born in our maternity hospital. After the completion of repairs, it will be possible to give birth to 10 thousand mothers a year", - says the chief doctor of the maternity hospital Madina Kenzhebayeva.
