213 EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS ARE SWITCHING TO THE DISTANCE FORMAT

In the fourth school quarter, which will begin on April 6, 222 thousand pupils will get knowledge on available Internet platforms and on the national and local TV channels. This was announced at a briefing by the Deputy mayor of Shymkent Almasbek Mamytbekov.

According to the speaker, all 147 public and 25 private schools in the city are ready for distance education of children. 

"214,613 pupils will participate in online lessons on available platforms, which is 96.7 percent of the total number of children," said head of the Education Directorate Zhanat Tazhieva. - Communication with children will be established via the electronic journal Kundelik of WhatsApp messenger. The lessons with the help of the channels "Balapan" and "Elena" will cover 7424 pupil, or 3.3 percent. In addition, local TV channels will broadcast a repeat of the video lessons."
