Mayor of the city visited large warehouses of Shymkent

In large warehouses of the city, the food supply will last for 2-3 months, there are no difficulties in transporting goods. This was reported by the mayor of Shymkent Murat Aitenov during the visit.
To stabilize prices in 2020, 1.9 billion tenge is provided from the Fund. Murat Duysenbekovich said that if necessary, another 800 million tenge can be allocated. In total, the volume of the stabilization fund is 2.2 billion tenge.
On the initiative of the mayor, an operational working team on food price control was established in Shymkent. Contracts have been signed with «Gramad Retail» LLP in order to stabilize prices for 11 socially important food products, This company will hold prices in its stores until the end of the year.

By the resolution of the regional Commission for the management of the food products fund, it was decided to conduct a procurement intervention of goods with a volume of 9250 tons for a total amount of 1.3 billion tenge to the stabilization fund. This is 6000 tons, 2000 tons of sugar, 250 thousand liters of sunflower oil, 1000 tons of pasta.
The mayor also visited the largest warehouse "Barys-2007" LLP in Shymkent. The food supply here is enough for 2-3 months. The warehouse stores flour, pasta, salt and other consumer goods. The company itself produces several types of pasta. There are no problems with raw materials. The products of "Barys-2007" LLP are delivered to four regions by rail.
