Shymkent would not have problems with medical masks

A special staff is established in Shymkent due to a state of emergency in the country and in connection with the execution of the orders of the President of Kazakhstan. This was announced by Deputy mayor of the city Yerbol Sadyr during a briefing at the information and communications center today. 
– At present, the world economy is experiencing serious difficulties. This may have an impact on our state. In this regard, work is underway in Shymkent to ensure anti-crisis, economic stability,”-said Erbol Abilkhairuly.
According to the speaker, a person infected with coronavirus is not registered in Shymkent. First of all, there is the issue of providing the population with food. The food amount is sufficient and the price situation in market outlets is stable. As for medicine, the city has prepared 170 places that meet all the requirements, 680 provisional beds, and there is a possibility of medical maintenance of a hospital for 750 places. 4,300 citizens are in reserve for preparatory work. 
Besides, more than 650 thousand masks are in a reserve.
In General, there are 750 pharmacies in Shymkent. Gaukhar garment factory and College No. 5 are starting sewing more than 500 thousand pieces of masks per a day. In two days, city pharmacies will have 4-layer masks made of gauze and coarse calico-110 tenge, 8-layer masks-130 tenge, 16-layer masks -200 tenge.
 The price of antiseptics should be from 420 tenge. For each citizen, only 2-4 pieces should be sold.
