M. AITENOV: QUALITY OF ROADS IS IMPORTANT
The city mayor has got acquainted with the progress of road construction.
"We live in a city, but we have a lot of unquality streets. Now the road of our street have been surfaced, ditches have been built up, and lighting bas been conducted. Children are especially happy. We thank the authorities for this work," - told the residents of Seitov street in the m-d "Samal-2"
Work is underway on Gagarin street and on Republic Avenue. The mayor got acquainted with the construction on the main Avenue of the city and instructed to deliver the objects on time and efficiently.
The mayor noted the need to observe all safety rules during the operation of the state of emergency. He instructed to equip sidewalks and flumes on the road leading to the market "Samal" and landscape the territory. M. Aitenov also called on residents to control the issue of construction and repair of roads.
The road length is 606 397 km in Shymkent. 56,5% of them is in a satisfactory condition. In order to develop the road infrastructure, this year 25.6 billion tenge is provided for construction and installation of 417.6 km of roads: 5.1 billion-from the national budget, the rest - from the local budget. As a result, 294 km of roads and one pedestrian crossing will be put into operation.
The mayor also got acquainted with the construction of the airport terminal. Now the first stage of work is underway there. Passenger check-in and baggage collection will be carried out in digital format. It is planned to expand the platform for aircraft.
The construction of the new terminal is carried out using materials of domestic production.
