SPEED OF HOUSING CONSTRUCTION HASN"T BEEN REDUCED IN SHYMKENT
In emergency mode, the construction speed in Shymkent has not been reduced. Work is underway on all construction sites.
Today, the city mayor Murat Aitenov has visited the under construiction facilities of microdistrict "Shymkent city". He called for the involvement of unemployed citizens in construction work and instructed to ensure all safety measures at the construction sites.
M. Aitenov visited a 16-storey building in the French style, which is being built by the company "Otau Stroy". Chief engineer Abdat Akimov noted that the main part of the construction of the 360-apartment building has been completed.
Currently, work is underway on internal repairs and cladding of building. 3 billion 955 million tenge was provided for the construction. However, many builders can not get to the city due to the ban on entry. Therefore, the employment of Shymkent residents is currently underway. The employment center has applied for 443 jobs in the construction industry.

It should be noted that "Shymkent city" with a territory of 472 hectares is divided into 12 blocks. At the expense of state funds, it is planned to build 43 objects with a total cost of 27 billion tenge on 27.5 hectares. 39 of them are multi-storey buildings. Construction of a 1200-place school has been completed. Now the construction of the kindergarten will be started. The microdistrict has engineering communications, a boiler room that provides homes and organizations with hot water all year round.
25 objects have already been put into operation in the microdistrict. People moved into 23 high-rise buildings with 1,290 apartments.
In August this year, it is planned to deliver16 credit houses for 1048 apartments and two engineering facilities.
In addition, the construction of seven streets with a length of 13.8 km and a cost of 4.3 billion tenge will be completed on the territory of Shymkent city in 2020.
In total, 252 multi-storey buildings with 13,636 apartments are being constructed in Shymkent from various sources. This is a total of one million square meters of housing. 78 houses are being constructed using the budget, 48 - by the "Shymkent" SEC, and 166-with the funds of private investors.
The construction of 126 houses is planned based on public investment. 107 houses with 6213 apartments will be completed this year. In addition, 696 apartments will be purchased on the market for rental purposes.

The mayor assured the contractors that the authorities will provide all conditions for the continuation of construction, and instructed to deliver the objects on time and to an accomplished standard.
