QUARANTINE IS BEING INTRODUCED IN SHYMKENT FROM APRIL 4
Eight new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Shymkent. All infected people are family members and relatives of the last identified patient.
In order to prevent the spread of infection, Taimanov street, where the infected people lives, and two adjacent streets - Sarsenbayev and Suleimenov are currently closed for quarantine. Seven roadblocks have been set up. The issue of providing food to residents of 70 houses in the quarantine area is being resolved. All preventive measures are taken.
Note that the total number of infected people in Shymkent at the moment is 11.
The city has already introduced a number of restrictive measures, but not everyone fully understands the seriousness of the situation – a large flow of people continues.
Based on this situation, as well as on the experience of other major cities of Kazakhstan, the mayor of Shymkent, in agreement with the state Commission, announced the beginning of the quarantine from 21.00 hours on April 4. It consists of the following measures.
First. During the quarantine period, the activities of all organizations (regardless of their ownership form) will be suspended, except for the list of organizations specified in the decree of the chief sanitary doctor of Shymkent (published on the official website of Shymkent mayor https://shymkent.gov.kz/ru/news/2100 and in social networks).
Public recreation areas, including parks and outdoor playgrounds, are suspended.
Second. It is prohabited citizens to travel to and from the city (including on foot) and all types of vehicles, with the exception of persons and organizations specified in the decree.
Third. A absolute prohibition on the movement of minibuses along routes with their replacement by buses is being introduced. City transport will operate from 07.00 to 19.00.
Fourth. Disinfection works on the entire city territory is being intensified.
Fifth. The movement of citizens is completely restricted. This is done in order to create conditions for complete self-isolation. The restriction does not apply to doctors, law enforcement officials, public utilities, and employees who ensure the city's vital activity. Other citizens will be able to go out of their homes to buy food, medicine, medical services, and Bank services. Violators of the quarantine regime will be identified by representatives of law enforcement agencies.
Sixth. During the period of quarantine and state of emergency on the city territory, people over 55 years of age should be advised not to go outside unless absolutely necessary.
Seventh. All organizations listed in the list must provide employees with certificates of employment.
Eighth. Food markets operation mode remains the same-from 10. 00 to 18. 00, grocery stores located within step distance-from 10: 00. 00 to 21.00.
The ninth. All public restaurants go to work in the delivery mode with the use of online orders from 10. 00 to 22.00. Tenth. A ban on traveling around the city by private vehicle is being introduced. This does not apply to employees of organizations listed in the list who have to travel to and from work. To do this, they must have an employment certificate with them.
Besides, you can go for food and essential goods and medical products to stores and pharmacies located near your home or work, as well as if you urgently need to go to a medical facility.
