CHEMICAL INDUSTRY PRODUCTION INCREASED BY 58% IN SHYMKENT
For 8 months of this year, the growth of industrial production in Shymkent amounted to 106.4% and amounted to 484.5 billion US dollars. The manufacturing industry accounts for 87% of the products produced.

In the manufacturing industry, the physical index of furniture, chemical industry, electrical equipment, finished metal, clothing, beverages, food, textiles and oil refining products exceeds 100 percent.

One of the industries where the volume of production increased is the chemical industry. Production in this industry increased by 58.8% compared to last year. Since the beginning of the year, the enterprises produced goods worth 6.1 billion tenge, which is 158.8%. Such products include soap, various detergents, alcohol fertilizers, dyes and carbon dioxide.

JSC "Shymkentmai",which is a leader in the production of soap in the city, implements waste-free production technology. The basis of the enterprise is oil processing products. In addition to traditional household soap, it also produces soap containing coconut oil.
