DYNAMICS OF STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT OF SHYMKENT
Today, the Deputy Mayor of Shymkent, Yergali Bilisbekov, took part in a press conference at the information and communication center, where he summed up the work on strategic development of the city for January-May 2021. During the briefing, Yergali Dauletbekovich answered questions from journalists on the sectors he oversees: housing, employment, social protection, economy and budget planning, and the financial sector.
One of the most important areas from the point of view of the socio-economic development of the city is financial. The revenue plan for 2021 is 451 billion 275.4 million tenge. This includes tax and non-tax revenues, proceeds from the sale of capital, and transfers.
As it was noted at the press conference, for 5 months of this year, the plan for tax revenues and other revenues to the local budget was fulfilled by 121.8%, that is, instead of 54 billion 39.6 million tenge, 65 billion 820.2 million tenge was actually received, and exceeded by 11 billion 780.6 million tenge.
- I want to note that the performance indicators of the expenditure part of the budget are also quite good. According to the results of 2020, 452.7 billion tenge of budget funds were spent, the planned figure was 99.7%. This is the best indicator in recent years in our city, - said the deputy mayor of the city.
This year, the main part of the budget expenditures is directed to the social sphere. This includes funding for such areas as education, social security, healthcare, culture, sports, tourism, and the information space.
