THE ONLY CENTER IN THE COUNTRY «CUSTOMS AND RITES» IS LOCATED IN SHYMKENT
The only center of "Customs and rites" in the country is located in Shymkent city. This center for the benefit of the country was commissioned in 2014.
Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev took part in the opening of the center during his visit to the city. This institution is a unique center that has no analogues in other regions and regions of the republic, embodying the customs of the peoples, connecting its past and present.
It conducts comprehensive research and methodological work related to traditions and customs, and publishes printed materials. National values that have been passed down to us from time immemorial are widely promoted. The rites, traditions and customs of representatives of other ethnic groups living in the south are also systematically studied. The main position was the implementation of the program articles "Mangilik El", "Uly dalanyn zheti kyry", "Rukhani zhangyru".
The building of the center consists of 2-storeys. In it are located «national traditions» and meeting rooms. Total area - 940 square meters. There are scientific-methodological, research, scientific-pedagogical and economic departments.
Various projects were presented in order to revive national traditions:"Eldiktin bir belgisi-Erulik", "Ulttyk kiimder", the book "Dasturim-asyl kazynam" was published. During the pandemic in the country, the center held online meetings dedicated to customs and traditions.
