SHYMKENT ONCOLOGISTS LEARN COMPLEX OPERATIONS WITHOUT A SCALPEL
Medical specialists of the Cancer Center of Shymkent are trained in the technique of complex operations for oncological patients with concomitant diseases.

Since April 22, the head of the Center of Oncogynecology of the Kazakh Research Institute of Oncology and Radiology Yerlan Kukubasov and the doctor of the Center of Oncogynecology Orynbasar Bertleuov will conduct a master class for oncologists of Shymkent. They are working to show local doctors in practice the stage of a complex operation on a new device and the method of applying the technique.
During the master class, doctors from Almaty performed laparoscopic surgery on cancer patients with concomitant diseases. Most of the operated patients are obese and have concomitant diseases, such as diabetes mellitus, arterial hypertension.
With the laparoscopic method, the operation is performed without incisions. According to experts, this allows the patient to heal faster and does not leave traces on the skin. After the operation, the patient can start walking independently in the evening.
