MURAT AITENOV CRITICIZED THE WORK OF 4 MAYORS OF DISTRICTS ON THE CITY CLEANLINESS
Shymkent city mayor M. Aitenov heard reports of mayors of Abay, Al-Farabi, Enbekshi, Karatau districts on sanitary cleaning, planting and landscaping of the city territory.
Stressing that with the arrival of spring, the city turns into a dusty, dirty city with holes in the roads, the city mayor criticized the work of the four mayors of the districts, noting that if they do not take measures to restore cleanliness and order in the city, mayors of districts will be held accountable.
"Since this year, the work on ensuring the sanitary cleanliness of the city from the Directorate of Energy and utilities of the city has been entrusted to four mayors of districts. The main goal of this decision was to optimize the work, strengthen the competence of the district mayors, and strengthen the feedback between the district mayor and population. But, according to the preliminary information provided to me, it is difficult to say that the cleanliness of the city is at the proper level, " said Murat Aitenov.
The mayor noted that the garbage on the Badam River coast, in the Zhanatalap residential area, the condition of the Akzhar, Kyzylzhar, Aktas, Kazygurt microdistricts in the Abay district do not stand up to criticism, and that the district does not clean household and construction waste, a large number of plastic objects and dead livestock are found in the riverbeds.
The same situation has developed in the microdistrict "Saule", on the streets of Tereshkov, Khlopzavod Al-Farabi district, in the residential areas "Badam-2", "Turdyabad", "Zhylanbuzgan" and microdistricts No. 12, No. 15 of the Enbekshi district, and also often occurs in the Karatau district in the microdistricts "Bozaryk", "Turan", "Kainar-bulak", "Shapyrashty", "Asar-2", "Dostyk" and "Administrative and business center".
Noting that there are also a lot of critical materials about the sanitary cleanliness of the city in social networks, the city mayor stressed that this is an indicator of the inappropriate work of the district mayor and his deputy responsible for sanitary cleanliness. So, 18 critical materials on the Karatau district, 11 – on the Abay and Enbekshi districts, and 6 - on the Al–Farabi district were published on the pages in social networks during the week.
Also M.Aitenov focused on the problem of chaotic retail outlets that directly affect the cleanliness of the city. The unresolved issue for several years is due to the negligent attitude to their duties not only of the district mayors, but also of the local police service.
In conclusion, the mayor noted that in order for the city to be clean, worthy of the status of a city of national significance, it is necessary to improve the culture of the population, effectively spend the funds allocated from the budget and called for working in a team, without referring to each other.
