5,885 PEOPLE TOOK PART IN EMPLOYMENT EVENTS UNDER THE "ENBEK" PROGRAM
The results of the work of Shymkent city Directorate of Employment and Social Protection for the first quarter were summed up.
According to Yerman Bekmuratov, the acting head of Directorate, within the framework of the state program "Enbek", it is planned to involve 21,842 people in employment events in 2021, 5,885 people (26.9%) are actually covered by employment events.
Within the first direction of the program, it is planned to send 2,500 people for short-term professional training. In the second direction (the development of mass entrepreneurship), it is planned to provide state grants to 600 citizens. In April of this year, 600 people will receive state grants. In the third direction (the development of the labor market through the promotion of employment and the mobility of labor resources), 5,885 people are covered by employment events. In particular, 2,430 persons (34.6 per cent) were placed in vacant jobs, 109 persons (54.5 per cent) in social work, 568 in youth work (22.7 per cent), and 2,778 in paid public work (90.8 per cent).
In addition, in the framework of the state program "Enbek" as of the first quarter of 2021 social support measures covered by 229 people with disabilities. Of these, 62 citizens were employed on a permanent basis, and 167 citizens were employed on a temporary basis.
