Bakdaulet Abdrakhmanov, the chief imam of Shymkent city was vaccinated against coronavirus on the first day of Ramadan. A group of clergymen who supported the good cause of the chief Imam were also vaccinated against the infection in the city polyclinic No. 13. This was reported in the city health directorate.
Saying that the vaccine is not a food or vitamin that provides the body with energy, the chief imam of the city noted that vaccinating a person with a needle does not violate the fasting.
"Dear Muslims, On the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, as we are concerned for our health and the health of the people, with the good intentions that the situation will soon improve, we gathered in a group and were vaccinated. In the near future, we will have to work together to improve the situation and return to normal life. Mosques will open and we can perform collective prayers. May all your righteous deeds in Ramadan be accepted, " said the city's chief imam.
It should be noted that there are about 260 imams in the mosques of Shymkent.
