SHYMKENT-CASHMERE PLANT PLANS TO LAUNCH THE SECOND STAGE
Shymkent-Cashmere LLP is a plant for processing wool and producing yarn and bed quilts from it. To date, the first stage of the enterprise – the workshop for the primary processing of wool-washing and carding-has been fully put into operation. The workshop was created primarily for equipping with raw materials of its own production. The volume of deliveries is up to 2000 tons of washed and combed wool per year. The company mainly uses local raw materials.
According to the director of the plant, a young entrepreneur Sanat Shaganbekuly, the company is one of the best in its industry, in terms of its scale in the country.
- Large factories, known since Soviet times, for the primary processing of wool, are now closed. Unfortunately, this type of production is a low-income industry and requires large investments. But thanks to the location in the SEZ and the existence of certain types of benefits and preferences, we can work and develop, " says Sanat Shaganbekuly.
In 2017, the plant received a loan from Bank RBK JSC to replenish its working capital. The interest rate for the company was 17%, of which 7% is paid by the Damu Fund.
Currently, work is underway to introduce the second stage of the enterprise. The shop for the production of combed wool ribbon is already ready. Some machines were purchased and installed. To date, trial batches are being produced.
Domestic products are of high quality and are in no way inferior to Mongolian, Italian, Greek and Russian analogues. Also at more affordable prices.
