WITH STATE SUPPORT, THE PRIVATE FARM HAS BECOME A LARGE AGRICULTURAL COOPERATIVE
In Shymkent city, the agricultural production cooperative "Baiterek Agro" contributes to providing the population with high-quality dairy and meat products. The farm for fattening livestock and producing commercial dairy products is located in the Sairam residential area.
The institution, founded in 2012 as a peasant farm "Baiterek", began its work with the fattening of 400 heads of cattle.
In 2016, the territory of the farm and the capacity of the feedlot were increased to 700 heads with thw state support. And in 2018, this figure reached 1,200 heads. In the same year, the general director of the farm, Takhirbek Nishanbayev, started a large-scale development of production and created the agricultural cooperative "Baiterek Agro". The cooperative has united more than 20 personal subsidiary farms. This, in turn, contributed to the development of small farms and joint work, the sale of their products directly without intermediaries.
The cooperative has a dairy processing shop and a slaughterhouse equipped with modern equipment and machinery.
Today, the total area of the farm is 300 hectares, of which 14 hectares are farms and workshops for the production of agricultural products.
Currently, the farm has a feedlot for 1,300 head of cattle and 500 dairy cows. In addition, the farm can receive and produce up to 8 tons of milk per day.
It should be noted that thanks to the production of dairy products, namely yoghurt cheese, kurt, kefir, kazy, cattle meat, horse meat, lamb, the products are sold in densely populated areas at affordable prices without direct intermediaries.
In the future, the owner of the farm plans to increase the number of breeding cows of the dairy and meat direction, to get high-quality products.
