QUALITY AND STORAGE CONDITIONS OF PYROTECHNICS ARE CHECKED IN SHYMKENT
On the eve of the New Year, specialists of Shymkent city Department of Emergency Situations, with the aim of preventing accidents in the use and sale of pyrotechnic substances, met with entrepreneurs.
Currently, a moratorium has been declared on small and medium-sized businesses. Since the beginning of the year, 192 fires have been registered in the city, of which 29 occurred at business facilities. In this regard, during the meeting, entrepreneurs were urged to observe safety measures to protect their business from fire.
To date, a special campaign team has been created to prevent fires and ensure fire safety in the city. The team consists of local government and police department employees, as well as volunteers. They carry out explanatory work in large shopping centers and public places in accordance with sanitary standards.
Preventive work on safety when using pyrotechnic substances in the city was limited not only to the meeting. For schoolchildren and parents, through the ZOOM app, they also conducted explanatory work on the topic of a safe New Year's Eve.
In addition, law enforcement agencies regularly conduct raids on major shopping centers and markets in the city to monitor the quality and order of sale and storage of pyrotechnics. Entrepreneurs who do not have a license to sell these items or violate storage rules will be prosecuted, and pyrotechnics will be confiscated.
Currently, there are no registered victims of fireworks in Shymkent. However, it is important to remember about fire safety. Representatives of the special group called on entrepreneurs to pay close attention to security measures.
