The meeting heard a report from the Directorates of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, Construction and the State Labour Inspectorate. The head of the Urban Economy and Budget Planning Directorate R.Mulkemanov reported on the implementation of the city development programme for 2018-2020.

In addition, the meeting unanimously approved the introduction of proposals on the names of residential districts and streets of Shymkent city for consideration by the Republican Commission on onomastics. According to the head of the city Directorate of culture, development of languages and archives, X.Yesenova, it is proposed to name 381 parts of the city, 24 neighborhoods, 52 streets with repeated names and 305 unnamed streets.
Mayor of the city Murat Aitenov thanked the deputies, noting that over the past five years, historical decisions and many important programmes have been made in the city development.
- A number of decisions and programs aimed at creating a comfortable environment for the city’s residents are adopted and implemented together with you, which has a positive impact on the development of the city. I want to thank everyone. Today we have a budget for 2021-2023. A passenger transport development scheme has been approved, which was one of the most important issues. Elections of deputies of the Mazhilis and Maslikhats are scheduled for January 10, 2021. We need to organize elections in the city at a high level, - said the city mayor.
In addition, the meeting approved the budget of Shymkent city for 2021-2023 and made changes to a number of resolutions of the city maslikhat.
