SHYMKENT HOSIERY PRODUCTION PLANT "ALEM BT" RECEIVED THE "ALTYN SAPA" AWARD
Today, with the participation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasim-Jomarta Tokayev, the ceremony of awarding the «Altyn Sapa» prize winners was held online.
In his welcoming address, the President noted that domestic enterprises had become the basis of the national economy. Noting the country’s achievements during the years of independence, he thanked for the fact that, despite the pandemic, the share of domestic enterprises in exports had not declined.
Mayor of Shymkent city Murat Aitenov took an active part in the meeting. Shymkent hosiery production plant "Alem BT" received the "ALTYN SAPA-2020" award.
The Altyn Sapa award is awarded annually on a competitive basis for the organization's achievement of significant results in the field of product or service quality, ensuring their safety, as well as for the organization's implementation of highly effective quality management methods. This competition annually awards prizes in four categories. In other words, every year they determine the best industrial enterprise, the best enterprise that provides services, the best enterprise that produces goods for the population, and the best enterprise that produces food and agricultural products.

Alem BT LLP is one of the largest enterprises that, in addition to fully meeting the needs of the domestic market, exports its products abroad. The products of this Kazakhstan hosiery factory are in great demand. The company's capacity is 16 million pairs of products per year. It produces more than 200 socks for men, women and children. Over the entire period of operation, the company exported products worth more than 2 billion tenge to the CIS and European countries.
Previously, the winners of the competition were Kazmedpribor Holding LLP (2015), Karlskrona LLP (2016), Himpharm JSC (2016), Planta LLP (2017), Azala textile LLP (2018).
