WINNERS OF THE "ULT UNI" COMPETITION WERE AWARDED IN SHYMKENT
On the eve of the 29th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the caravan competition "Ult uni", organized as part of the cultural and educational project "Kazaktanu", was completed.
First Deputy mayor of Shymkent city Shyngys Mukan, who took part in the final meeting, awarded the winners.
- More than 1 million 50 thousand people live in Shymkent, 32.5% of them are representatives of various ethnic groups. The city has created favorable conditions for the development of national culture and traditions of ethnic groups. In this direction, 16 ethno-cultural associations work together with the promotion of national values, respect for the culture of the Kazakh people and the desire to learn the state language. I believe that the performance of all who took part in the competition is highly commendable, said Shangys Zhumabekovich, thanking the participants.
The purpose of the competition is to promote the language, culture, art, customs, history and literature of the Kazakh people, effectively using their potential, to unite all ethnic groups. More than 80 concert numbers were presented at the competition.
The caravan competition started in October, and the selective stage was held first. 22 best concert numbers were selected, and in November-December the groups performed a concert program in densely populated residential areas and microdistricts in Abay, Al-Farabi, Enbekshi, Karatau districts of Shymkent.
The competition participants widely promoted the works of great personalities such as Abu Nasir Al-Farabi and Abay, songs of the Kazakh waltz king Shamshi Kaldayakov, and also demonstrated the level of knowledge of the state language through the performance of their works. They also contributed to the popularization of traditions, art and culture of the Kazakh people.
According to the results of the caravan-competition "Ult uni": Grand Prix - Scrullayev Nematillo, I place - Kim Pavel, II place- Umid Umarov, Rakhimshikov Umar, III place - Tursynova Gulkhanym.
